MAPLE SYRUP 2012
The making of Maple Syrup is a true sign that spring has arrived. As the days warm in March, the sap from the maple trees start to flow. Wintergreen Sugar Shack and Pancake House on County Road 21 just outside of Gelert is in full swing in the production of Maple Syrup. Enjoy a walk through the bush to see how the sap is gathered, visit the sugar shack to witness the making of the syrup and finally the best part of all is having pancakes covered in sweet Maple Syrup. |
