Haliburton Highlands Golf Club
Billed as Haliburton’s most scenic golf course, Haliburton Highlands Golf Club is a beautiful nine-hole golf course. Located about 30 minutes from Sandy Lane Resort, Haliburton Highlands is a favorite of our guests, and it’s easy to see why. The scenery is immaculate, especially on the eighth hole, where players enjoy amazing views of Lake Kashawigamog. This course provides an authentic Highlands experience and is decidedly one of the best golf courses in the Ontario Highlands.
Lakeside Golf Club
Golfers of all skill levels will enjoy playing at Lakeside Golf Club. This nine-hole course features many elevation changes and long fairways. Greens can be a little challenging, but that’s part of what makes Lakeside fun. Another nice feature is the on-site Tenth Hole Restaurant, which not only serves up delicious food but also has a lovely patio overlooking Grass Lake. Plus, Lakeside is only 20 minutes from the resort.
Gull River Golf Club
For 82 years, this golf course was known as Beaverbrook Golf Club, but after undergoing changes in 2021, it’s now known as Gull River Golf Club. The course is built around the Gull River and Beaver Creek, which means golfers face water hazards on three of the nine holes. Gull River’s facilities were upgraded in 2021, giving this course a more modern and welcoming atmosphere.
Blairhampton Golf Club
If nine holes aren’t going to cut it for your golf outing, head to Blairhampton Golf Club. This course features 18 holes, but perhaps the biggest highlight is the driving range, which is stunning. The course is in great condition, with well-maintained greens. The course is well designed with high elevations. Blairhampton is especially beautiful in the fall when the leaves begin to change color.
